Nova Craft Prospector 17 — Canada-tested & ready for a new adventure
Up for auction is my Nova Craft Prospector 17, made from TuffStuff — Nova Craft's proprietary composite of basalt and Innegra fibres with a high-impact vinylester resin. The result is a great combination of strength, relatively low weight and serious impact resistance.
And this canoe has definitely been put to the test.
It crossed Canada with me, carrying everything I needed for the journey through lakes, rivers, rapids, rocks, wind, weather and a frankly unreasonable number of portages. 😂
It really looked after me. It's a very sturdy canoe, especially when loaded, and it proved itself over thousands of kilometres. It does have the battle scars to show for it, but every mark tells a story from the journey across Canada.
The spray skirt is made by Northwater. The heavy-duty centre zipper works perfectly, but the two zippers around the cockpit need repairing.
The canoe is currently in Montreal and is being sold as-is, where-is. If you're not in Montreal, I may be able to help get it to wherever it needs to go, depending on the distance and logistics.
It's already crossed Canada once. Maybe it's time for someone else to see where it can go. 🛶
All amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Help Keep the Adventures Coming
If you've enjoyed following the adventures and would like to support what I do, any contribution is hugely appreciated.
Your support helps me keep the adventures coming, maintain and replace the equipment that gets me out there, make better videos, and, quite simply, keep a little food on my plate while I'm out chasing the next adventure.
There's absolutely no obligation — watching, sharing, commenting and following along already means a lot.
But if you'd like to chip in, thank you. It genuinely helps.
