I Finally Reached the Ottawa River! | Mattawa River Ends
The Mattawa River is one of Ontario’s historic canoe routes, flowing east from Trout Lake near North Bay toward the Ottawa River and the town of Mattawa.
After 194 days of canoeing across Canada, I finally made it to the Ottawa River. This episode begins on the Mattawa River in Ontario, where I paddle and portage my way through the final section of this historic canoe route before reaching the Ottawa River.
